LogbookLite — digital pilot logbook for UK CAA and EASA pilotsLogbookLite

Terms of Service

Effective date: 10 May 2026
Version: 1.0

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are a legal agreement between you and BluFlo Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16412861, with its registered office at Office 17632, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “BluFlo”).

They govern your use of LogbookLite, our digital pilot logbook service available at logbooklite.com (the “Service”).

By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You can contact us at ewan@bluflo.io.

2. Who can use LogbookLite

You can use LogbookLite if:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a contract under the laws of your country.
  • You are using the Service for your own personal pilot logbook (one account per person).

LogbookLite is intended for individual licensed pilots and student pilots. Each subscription covers one person — account sharing is not permitted. If you need access for multiple pilots (e.g. a flight school), contact us.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential.
  • All activity that happens under your account.
  • Making sure the information you provide (name, email, flight data) is accurate.

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at ewan@bluflo.io.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and the free trial

4.1 The free trial

When you sign up, you provide payment card details and receive a 7-day free trial of LogbookLite. We do not charge you during the trial.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and we charge your card.

4.2 Paid subscriptions

LogbookLite is offered as either:

  • Monthly subscription at £5 per month, or
  • Annual subscription at £50 per year.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

All prices are in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable VAT.

4.3 Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your card details. By starting a subscription you agree to Stripe's terms (stripe.com/legal) in addition to these terms.

If a payment fails, we may suspend your access to the Service until payment succeeds. We will notify you by email and give you a reasonable period to update your payment details.

4.4 Price changes

We may change our prices. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price takes effect. The new price will only apply at your next billing cycle. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

4.5 Cooling-off period (UK consumer law)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your first paid charge, no questions asked. To exercise this right, email ewan@bluflo.io within the 14-day window. We will refund the charge in full.

The 14-day right runs from your first paid charge, not from your signup date — meaning you have the full 7-day trial plus 14 days from the first payment to decide.

The cooling-off right applies once per customer and does not apply to subsequent renewal payments.

4.6 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • You retain access to LogbookLite until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your subscription does not renew at the next billing cycle.
  • You can export your full logbook to PDF or CSV at any time before the deletion period begins.
  • Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the end of your billing period, and removed from backups within a further 30 days. After day 60, no copy remains. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We do not provide refunds for the unused portion of any billing period after the 14-day cooling-off period has ended.

5. How you may and may not use LogbookLite

5.1 Acceptable use

You may use LogbookLite for any lawful purpose related to maintaining your personal pilot logbook.

5.2 Prohibited use

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of LogbookLite.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share access to the Service with anyone other than the named account holder.
  • Use the Service to break the law, including falsifying flight records, evading regulatory requirements, or anything that violates UK CAA, EASA, or other applicable aviation regulations.
  • Upload malicious files, malware, viruses, or any code intended to damage the Service or other users.
  • Interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass security, or attack our infrastructure.

If we believe you have breached these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.

6. Your data and content

6.1 You own your data

You own all flight records, logbook entries, and other content you create or upload to LogbookLite (“Your Data”). We do not claim any ownership of Your Data.

6.2 Licence to operate the Service

To run LogbookLite for you, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, back up, and display Your Data, solely as needed to deliver the Service. This licence ends when you delete your data or your account.

We do not use Your Data to train AI models, sell to third parties, or for any purpose other than running the Service for you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle Your Data.

6.3 Exporting your data

You can export your full logbook to PDF or CSV at any time, both during and immediately after cancellation (until the 30-day deletion period ends).

7. Our intellectual property

We own all rights in the LogbookLite software, brand, design, content, and documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. You receive only the right to use the Service as described in these terms while your subscription is active.

The “LogbookLite” name, logo, and visual design are property of BluFlo Solutions Ltd.

8. Service availability

We do our best to keep LogbookLite available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uptime and we don't offer a service level agreement (SLA) on our standard subscription plans.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control (including third-party outages). We will try to give notice of planned downtime where possible.

LogbookLite is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific results.

9. Beta features

Some features of LogbookLite (currently including the OOOI scan) are offered in beta. Beta features may be incomplete, may produce unexpected results, and may change or be removed at any time. You should always verify the data captured by beta features before relying on it for licence applications, audits, or other regulatory submissions.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of your logbook regardless of the tools used to populate it.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Subject to that:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of reputation.
  • We are not liable for loss of data beyond our obligations under the Privacy Policy and our reasonable efforts to maintain backups. You are responsible for exporting and retaining your own copy of your logbook before cancelling or terminating your account.
  • Our total liability to you in any 12-month period, for any and all claims arising under or in connection with these terms, is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

LogbookLite is a tool to help you maintain your pilot logbook. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your logbook, including for licence applications, audits, and regulatory submissions. We recommend regularly exporting and reviewing your records.

11. Termination by you

You can stop using LogbookLite at any time by cancelling your subscription from your account settings. See section 4.6 for what happens when you cancel.

12. Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You materially breach these terms (including the prohibited uses in section 5.2).
  • Your payment fails repeatedly and you don't update your payment details.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • We discontinue the Service (see section 13).

Where reasonably possible, before terminating your account we will:

  • Notify you by email and explain the reason.
  • Give you a chance to fix the issue (where the issue is fixable).
  • Provide you with an export of your data in PDF and CSV format before deletion.

We may terminate immediately, without notice or export, in cases of severe breach (e.g. fraud, illegal use, or attacks on our infrastructure).

13. Changes to the Service

We may update, change, or discontinue features of LogbookLite at any time. For material changes that significantly reduce the functionality you've paid for, we will:

  • Give you reasonable notice (at least 30 days where possible).
  • Allow you to export your data and cancel your subscription with a pro-rata refund of any unused, prepaid period.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Effective date” at the top of this page.
  • Notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

If you continue to use the Service after the new terms take effect, you accept them. If you don't accept them, you can cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

16. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Service.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a right under these terms straight away, that doesn't mean we have given it up.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours (for example, in a sale of the business) on reasonable notice.
  • No partnership. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between us.
